For all those who enjoy a challenge or just enjoy watching a hill race there are several coming up in the village of Strathyre in May and June. We have a stunning property – Glenvarloch –  very well placed for competitors and spectators. What a luxury to fall into a whirlpool bath or enjoy a power shower just past the finishing line! For those who prefer to stay a short distance away there are two properties for couples within easy travelling distance in the village of St Fillans on Loch Earn Midsummer Cottage  and Tarken Lodge.

Visit the castle the Royal Family use for their summer holiday, but remember it is not open August-October when they are in residence. The Braemar Highland Games take place at the beginning of September and at this gathering visitors will see caber tossing, Highland dancing and plenty of men in kilts!
